ARMED ROBBERY OF
RIVERDALE POST OFFICE


 

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) responsible for an armed robbery of a motor vehicle services driver at the Riverdale Main Post Office, 6411 Baltimore Ave., Riverdale, MD 20737. The robbery occurred at about 5:30 pm on October 9, 2012. The suspect was described as:

Black male, approximately 5'6" to 5'7," of slender build, wearing dark pants, a gray-hooded sweatshirt, and black gloves. The suspect was last seen wearing a black, half-face ski-style mask and was armed with a silver semi-automatic handgun. Following the robbery, the suspect was observed entering a black, early-model sedan of unknown make and model, and was last seen heading east on Sheridan Street.
