Armed Robbery of Postal Letter Carrier

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the robbery of a postal letter carrier on Saturday, January 3, 2015, at approximately 10:00 a.m. The robbery occurred at 327 E. Compton Blvd., Compton, CA 90221.

The suspect is described as:

SUSPECT #1 – Black male, dark complexion. Last seen wearing an orange baseball cap, grey short-sleeved shirt, black shorts, and white tennis shoes. Last seen leaving the scene in a black 4-door sedan, possibly a Honda or Nissan.

Postal Inspectors urge anyone who noticed suspicious activity, including loitering, to call Postal Inspectors, who are on duty 24/7. Do not approach any suspicious individual. Instead, note the physical appearance of the individual and vehicle, if possible.
