The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) who attempted to rob the Redan Post Office at 1544 Wellborn Road, Redan, GA 30074. The attempted robbery occurred on Monday, August 2, 2010, at approximately 2:30 p.m.

The suspect is described as a black male, dark-brown complexion, 30 to 40 years old, approximately 5'9" 6' in height, 160-170 lbs., and of average build. The suspect was last seen wearing dark shades, a dark ball cap, light-colored button-down shirt, and dark pants. He is armed with a handgun.

The case is being investigated by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.

The same reward may be payable for information and service leading to the arrest and conviction of any person:

  • As an accessory to the above crime
  • For conspiracy to commit the above crime
  • For receiving or having unlawful possession of any property secured through the above crime
