The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the robbery of a U.S. Postal Service letter carrier.
On Wednesday, October 26, 2005, at approximately 10:15 a.m., near East Lantz and Spencer Sts., Detroit, MI 48234, a letter carrier was robbed of her mail at knifepoint. The suspect was described as a black male with a dark complexion, early 30s, 5'4" tall, approximately 170 pounds, pudgy nose, whites of eyes yellow. He was wearing black jeans, a black jacket with red stripes, black tennis shoes, and a black baseball cap.
