$50,000 REWARD OFFERED FOR
ROBBERY OF EL CAJON LETTER CARRIER

U.S. Postal Inspectors seek help to identify suspects

El Cajon, CA - The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for robbing an El Cajon letter carrier on the 2400 block of Fletcher Parkway in El Cajon, CA. The robbery occurred on Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at about 5:05 p.m.

Robbery of a U.S. Postal Service letter carrier is a federal crime, and offenders may be imprisoned for up to 10 years, be fined, or both.

Postal Inspectors warn customers not to approach suspicious individuals. Instead, try to note their physical appearance and any related vehicle. Postal Inspectors are on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Callers may remain anonymous.
