How to Get Off Mailing Lists

You may request the Direct Marketing Association, a trade group of direct and interactive marketing companies, to remove your name from national contact lists. The association provides updates of removal requests to companies four times a year. Your name remains on file for five years; you may then re-register. Most registrations cost $1.

For registration with Mail Preference Service (removal from national mailing lists): Click here to register online or to fill out an online form and mail it to the DMA.
